Paulo Sellmayer(1987, Oberhausen, Alemanha) é um designer fluído a trabalhar entre curadoria, produtos e exposições.
Licenciado em Design Industrial (2010) e mestre em Design de Produto (2020) na ESAD.CR - IPLeiria.
Fundador das marcas VICARA (2011) e Tasco Tableware (2019), foi também fundador e dirigente associativo na ADOC e no Serra Espaço Cultural.
Foi colunista mensal no Jornal de Leiria durante 5 anos, onde escreveu sobre a relação entre design e sociedade. (anteriormente dedicou-se ao blog designificados.wordpress.com).
Desde 2010 os seus projectos têm sido seleccionados e expostos em cidade como São Paulo, Londres, Milão, Rhode Island, Paris, Madrid e Lisboa. Galardoado com os prémios ValorPneu em 2014 com Pino , enquanto bolseiro de investigação do CDRSP-IPLeiria , e com o Global Design Award em 2023 com Cork Burel , enquanto director criativo da VICARA.
Com o VICARA Studio (2016-2023) trabalhou de forma multidisciplinar e em equipa com clientes como MAAT - Museum For Art Architecture and Technology in Lisbon, Sumol + Compal, Sovina, Amorim Cork Flooring, Fundação Oriente, entre outros.

Paulo Sellmayer (b. 1987, Oberhausen, Germany) is a fluid designer working between curation, product and exhibition design.
He holds a graduate degree in Industrial Design (2010) and a MA in Product Design (2020), both from ESAD.CR - IPLeiria.
Founder of the brands VICARA (2011) and Tasco tableware (2019), he was also a cultural activist at ADOC and Serra Espaço Cultural.
He was a monthly columnist at Jornal de Leiria during 5 years, focusing on the relation between design and society. (and old time blogger at designificados.wordpress.com).
